Thirsk and Northallerton Golf Club is proud to be awarded the R&A "Women in Golf" Charter. In line with R&A and England Golf principles we are committed to attracting more women and girls to the sport and encouraging them to participate at every level. We aim to create a friendly environment in which to enjoy the sport socially and to provide opportunities for both qualifying and non-qualifying competitions which are open to all.
We have three programmes designed to encourage women to play golf.
* Get into Golf for beginners 'Taster Sessions'
* A 'Trial' membership with group lessons and some access to the course
* A 'Transition' to Full Membership for women who have followed a Get into Golf programme and now preparing for full membership.
